As our Legal Administrative Assistant , you will not just be the front desk receptionist—you'll be a key player on a dynamic, forward-thinking team, playing an essential role in serving our clients while also helping to improve the efficiency of the entire firm. In this in-person role , you will have the opportunity to work closely with our attorneys and paralegals, handling a variety of administrative tasks across different practice areas with room for learning and growth. Whether you are new to a legal career or have prior experience, this is the perfect position to get mentorship, develop new skills, and contribute to our success in a way that goes beyond the typical administrative duties.Key Responsibilities:
Be the welcoming face of the firm, greeting clients and visitors Collaborate with our attorneys and team to manage intake calls, emails, and client relationships, ensuring seamless communication and scheduling for consultations and meetings Coordinate and facilitate communication between clients, attorneys, and external parties, helping to keep things moving smoothly Organize incoming correspondence for attorney review and action Manage administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and mailing important documents Support the office's operations , including ordering supplies, coordinating with third parties for building maintenance, and assisting with other daily office activities Learn and grow by gaining hands-on exposure to various legal processes and procedures, with mentorship from our experienced teamRequired Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional communication skills , both verbal and written A natural ability to build strong relationships, demonstrating outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills Highly organized , with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively A knack for thinking critically in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively, even when things get busy Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment at all times Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite and Google Suite Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or Paralegal Certificate (from an accredited institution—not online). Prior administrative experience and/or experience working in a law firm is a plus, but not required.
