Legal Assistant/Paralegal An established personal injury law firm in Beachwood, OH is seeking a legal assistant or paralegal to assist with a growing practice. The firm offers a professional, team-oriented environment and is open to candidates at a range of experience levels. Prior legal experience is preferred. About the Role The Paralegal/Legal Assistant will handle a variety of administrative and case-related responsibilities in support of the firm's personal injury and workers' compensation practice.
Day-to-day duties include:
Requesting, tracking, and organizing records, including medical records General office and administrative support Billing Support (working within Clio) Workers' Compensation Forms Assistance with written discovery Minimal Reception Responsibilities This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in a law firm setting. What We Are Looking For A minimum of a high school degree Strong organizational and communication skills with close attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn case management software (e.g. Clio) Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion Prior law firm experience helpful but not required Workers' compensation experience is a strong plus, including familiarity with claim filings, hearing preparation, medical records, and communication with the Bureau of Workers' Compensation, adjusters, and medical providers What the Firm Offers Competitive pay and full benefits package Supportive team and stable, professional environment Opportunities for growth within the firm 401K eligibility (per plan) Health Benefits (per plan)
