We are seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal team members in a collaborative law office environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, proofread, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence. Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements. Enter attorney time accurately into the firm's timekeeping system. Maintain electronic and paper client files in accordance with firm procedures and document management systems. Assist with conflict checks, new client/matter intake, client billing support, mail handling, and expense reports. Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and staff to ensure excellent service and efficient workflow. Support practice group initiatives and complete tasks submitted through the Attorney Support Portal. Participate in ongoing training to expand legal and administrative knowledge.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of legal administrative assistant experience supporting corporate legal teams. High school diploma required. Prior experience in a law firm or legal department. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a standard law office environment, Monday-Friday with a typical workday of 7.25 hours. Occasional additional hours may be required based on workload.
