Job Description

Header Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a broad spectrum of legal areas, including Business Law, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Wills & Estates and more. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will enable you to assist attorneys with case management, document preparation, and client communication. Salary Commensurate with experience with benefits for full-time employment including health insurance, dental insurance, 401K and paid time off. All replies will be kept in strict confidence.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail Assist attorneys with client communication by scheduling meetings, drafting updates, and handling confidential information responsibly. Support litigation processes through document review, filing court documents electronically or in person, and tracking case deadlines. Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for drafting documents, creating reports, and maintaining organized records of case activities. Skills Experience in Business Law, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Wills and Estates helpful. Proficiency in document review, legal writing, proofreading, and drafting accurate legal documents. Effective client communication skills with professional phone etiquette and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities seamlessly. Experience with electronic filing systems and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information at all times. Ability to support attorneys with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence efficiently using Microsoft Office Suite.
