Flexible About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Trust Administration, Probate, and Estate Planning Assistant/Paralegal who can step in and hit the ground running from day one. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and paralegal support across all phases of estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. The ideal candidate brings significant technical expertise to the table, combined with a positive, approachable personality. We are looking for a true team player who is also a driven self-starter—someone who knows exactly what needs to be done, anticipates the next steps, and executes with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities Estate Planning Support:
Draft, format, and proofread estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives); manage client intakes and coordinate signing meetings.
Trust Administration:
Assist with the full lifecycle of trust administration, including preparing statutory notices, marshaling and transferring assets, drafting distribution agreements, and communicating with beneficiaries and financial institutions.
Probate Filings:
Prepare and file probate court documents (petitions, inventories, accountings); calendar and track crucial court deadlines and hearing dates; manage e-filing processes.
Client Communication:
Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, and advisors during sensitive and emotional times.
Case Management:
Independently manage and prioritize multiple case files, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Substantial, hands-on experience specifically within trust administration, probate, and estate planning. You must be able to navigate standard procedures and documents with minimal training.

Work Environment & Compensation Schedule:
Up to 35 hours per week.
Flexibility & Location:
We offer a highly flexible, hybrid work schedule. You will have the autonomy to work remotely for a portion of the week while maintaining a presence in the office as needed for team collaboration, client meetings, or document signings.
