Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The role is flexible between remote and in-office. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing case files, filling RO's, RFO's, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting attorneys with complex legal procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and passionate about delivering exceptional legal support. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development. Draft, review, and edit legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage case files efficiently using document management systems like Clio and One Drive, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, and client meetings by organizing exhibits and compiling relevant case materials. Handle client communication professionally by scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Support project management tasks related to ongoing litigation or transactional matters to ensure timely completion of all deadlines. Perform administrative duties such as filing documents with courts or agencies, data entry, proofreading legal materials, and maintaining organized filing systems. Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses when necessary to gather pertinent information for cases involving personal injury law or workers' compensation claims. Stay informed on procedural law updates across various jurisdictions to ensure compliance with current legal standards. Requirements Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in
FAMILY LAW.
Proficiency with legal support software like Clio is preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong writing skills for drafting clear and effective legal documents; experience in legal drafting and proofreading is essential. Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for interacting with clients and stakeholders. Knowledge of procedural law across various jurisdictions to assist in case filings and court procedures accurately. Familiarity with document review processes and civil litigation support techniques to streamline case workflows. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating high ethical standards. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with experience using document management systems like iManage or similar platforms. Excellent research skills combined with the ability to synthesize complex legal concepts into understandable summaries. Pay:
$33.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
