In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring smooth case progression. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will be vital in delivering exceptional client service and maintaining the efficiency of our family law practice. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise within a collaborative environment dedicated to advocacy and excellence. Duties Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing client files and maintaining document systems using platforms such as Case Information System and LEAP Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, affidavits, correspondence, and interrogatories with precision and clarity Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and evidence to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedural requirements Manage court filings electronically and physically while adhering to filing deadlines and court procedures Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediations, and trials by organizing exhibits and preparing summaries Requirements Paralegal experience or equivalent legal support experience in a fast-paced law office environment Strong knowledge of civil litigation support, general & commercial litigation, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, patent law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and immigration law preferred Familiarity with legal research tools such as CIS and LEAP preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with document review and word processing skills Experience with legal drafting, writing skills, client communication, and phone etiquette Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines Knowledge of procedural law requirements across different jurisdictions is a plus Familiarity with legal administrative tasks such as filing, document management systems, and litigation support processes Join us if you're eager to contribute your legal expertise in a vibrant environment that values proactive support, continuous learning, and professional growth.
