We are currently searching for legal assistant with 3+ years of litigation defense experience, with all or some of the experience in medical malpractice . Experience should include the ability to handle cases from pre-suit through trial, as well as experience with court procedures and e-filing in multiple counties. Qualified candidates should be organized, proficient in MS Office products, and possess excellent grammar and communications skills. Other skills include being a self-starter and independent worker, and the ability to maneuver the ins and out of the court administrative agencies and opposing counsel. Duties include support of multiple attorneys, assisting in preparation and filing of legal documents and correspondence, calendaring, timekeeping, and professional interface with clients, counsel and courts.
