This is a primarily onsite position with limited hybrid flexibility, offering one work-from-home day every two weeks. The firm is experiencing significant growth and is looking for a legal professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced litigation environment. The qualified candidate will utilize a high level of job expertise to complete paralegal tasks under the supervision of case attorneys. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision making. Ability to work in a collaborative and positive manner with all coworkers, clients, attorneys and non-attorney staff and observe confidentiality in all matters relating to the Firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide litigation and administrative support to multiple attorneys. Assist with all phases of civil litigation, from case inception through trial. Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents. Perform state and federal e-filing and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines. Maintain case calendars and monitor critical deadlines. Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files. Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and other case-related events. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors. Assist attorneys with trial preparation and document management. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy litigation practice.
Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment. Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements. Experience with both state and federal e-filing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using Tabs software preferred. Familiarity with SharePoint and electronic file management. Excellent organizational, communication, and proofreading skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
