In this vital role, you will support attorneys across a broad spectrum of litigation and real estate transactional matters, ensuring smooth case and deal progression through expert document management, legal research, and procedural support. You will assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing purchase and sale agreements, leases, and closing documents, conducting title and lien searches, and coordinating closings. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help drive efficiency and uphold the highest standards of legal support. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your litigation and transactional expertise within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with all phases of civil and commercial litigation, including case preparation, discovery, and trial support Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and/or other legal research tools to support case strategies Manage and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Draft and review legal documents under attorney supervision, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel Coordinate court filings, service of process, and scheduling of depositions or hearings in compliance with procedural law requirements Assist attorneys with interviewing clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases Support attorneys with project management tasks related to personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, real estate, and general litigation matters Maintain detailed records of case progress and ensure deadlines are met efficiently Handle confidential information with discretion while providing executive administrative support as needed Facilitate communication between clients and attorneys through professional phone etiquette and prompt responses Assist with all phases of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds, and closing documents Conduct title examinations, lien and judgment searches, and review title commitments, surveys, and related due diligence materials Prepare closing statements, coordinate closings, and manage post-closing recording and follow-up Liaise with lenders, title companies, brokers, and opposing counsel to ensure timely and accurate completion of real estate transactions Experience Proven paralegal experience supporting litigation cases in a fast-paced legal environment; paralegal certificate or degree preferred Strong knowledge of procedural law across various practice areas, including civil litigation support and general & commercial litigation Experience with document review and legal writing preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Westlaw, LexisNexis, and/or other legal research platforms Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Effective interviewing skills for client communication and witness interviews Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism in all interactions Experience supporting residential and/or commercial real estate transactions, including familiarity with purchase and sale agreements, leases, title review, and closings Working knowledge of recording requirements, closing procedures, and real estate due diligence Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional legal support.
