This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to support complex litigation cases across a variety of practice areas, including civil, commercial, and specialized law fields. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key part in managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and coordinating communication between clients and attorneys. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will contribute significantly to the efficiency and success of our litigation efforts. This paid position is ideal for candidates eager to develop their legal support expertise within a collaborative environment that values innovation and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, trial support, and post-trial procedures Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies Manage and organize case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence Coordinate client interviews and witness interviews to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases Monitor deadlines and court filing requirements to ensure timely submission of documents in compliance with procedural law standards Support project management efforts by tracking case progress, maintaining calendars, and facilitating communication among team members Skills Proven experience supporting litigation cases across diverse practice areas such as civil litigation, family law, estate planning, environmental law, or personal injury law Strong knowledge of procedural law and court filing procedures in various jurisdictions Excellent research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms Proficiency with legal case management software including iManage and PCLaw; familiarity with document review tools is a plus Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Experience with legal drafting, proofreading, and preparing detailed reports or summaries for attorneys Familiarity with legal administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document management systems, and maintaining accurate records Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with familiarity with Westlaw or LexisNexis for legal research purposes Join us if you are passionate about supporting impactful litigation work in a fast-paced environment!
