In this vital role, you will provide legal support in the areas of estate and trust administration, drafting estate planning documents and related matters. Your expertise will help streamline case management, conduct thorough legal research, and ensuring that estate and trust administration projects move forward and are completed in a timely manner. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful legal work while developing your skills in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Conduct detailed legal research. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage case files efficiently through document review, organization, and electronic filing systems. Assist attorneys with client communication by preparing summaries and facilitating interviews while maintaining confidentiality. Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized case records. Experience Proven paralegal experience supporting practice areas related to estate planning and administration. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), document processing tools, and legal case management systems like Clio. Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration; experience with interviewing clients is advantageous. Knowledge of probate procedural law requirements in Oregon and Washington; prior law office experience is highly valued.
