This individual will support an established public records compliance function handling California Public Records Act (CPRA) and Information Practices Act (IPA) requests involving research records, patient information, personnel matters, litigation-related materials, media inquiries, and other sensitive institutional records.
ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage CPRA and IPA requests from intake through response, production, and closure.

Perform redactions and quality control review involving sensitive personnel, healthcare, research, litigation-related, privileged, and other confidential records.
Identify complex or sensitive requests and escalate legal or compliance issues when appropriate.
Draft and coordinate public records responses and communicate directly with requestors to clarify or narrow requests as appropriate.
Prioritize and track complex, high-risk, and time-sensitive requests while managing statutory deadlines.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, records management, research, healthcare, and administrative stakeholders to collect, review, and produce responsive records.
