Compensation:
$58,000 to $75,000
Responsibilities:
Your Role in the Firm's Mission As a Paralegal, you are a vital partner in delivering legal services with Grace that our clients can rely on.
You will:
Foster Confidence:
Serve as a compassionate point of contact for clients, ensuring they feel heard, informed, and supported at every stage of their case. You are responsible for gathering the documents the court requires from our clients and assembling and preparing them for presenting to the probate courts in the correct format.
Build Legacies:
Draft high-quality documents, including the preparation of and submission to the court of probate and guardianship pleadings, affidavits, and orders using the firm's customized forms. Bring Order to
Uncertainty:
Manage attorney court dockets, schedule hearings, coordinate with probate court staff, and organize client cloud-based file systems to ensure the legal process is seamless and reassuring for the families we serve. Lead with
Grace:
Handle sensitive situations with the empathy and professionalism our firm is known for. Our clients include grieving families who need help with understanding the probate process, and families of special needs individuals seeking empathetic representation in guardianship.
Qualifications:
Who You Are A Career-Minded Professional:
You see this as a calling, not just a "job." You have 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in Texas probate, guardianship, and estate planning law. You have completed a paralegal certificate and an associate's degree in paralegal studies or a 4-year college degree.

You thrive within well-established processes and are proactive about keeping cases moving forward without extensive oversight.
Empathetic Communicator:
You are a "transparent communicator" who can bridge the gap between complex law and the human experience our clients face.

You understand that accuracy in legal filings with the probate court is a final act of care and respect for our clients' families.
