Eden Senior Care , founded in 2016, is a growing Healthcare Management company, focused on managing and operating Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living communities in Minnesota, Ohio & Wisconsin. We are seeking a meticulous and driven Remote Paralegal to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and provide clear, concise analysis to support attorneys and business teams. Draft, review, redline, and prepare contracts, agreements, amendments, riders, and closing documents with accuracy and attention to detail. Assist with corporate governance, including maintaining corporate records, filings, and compliance documentation. Support commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, title review, Change of Ownership (CHOW) filings, and state licensing submissions. Develop and manage closing checklists, coordinate revisions from attorneys, lenders, and clients, and ensure all negotiated changes are accurately captured. Ensure compliance with local and state regulations in all filings and submissions, particularly for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Provide support on additional projects as assigned, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
Paralegal Certificate required. 3-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in corporate, M&A, or commercial real estate law. Strong background in real estate transactions, including title clearance and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated ability to draft and review legal documents with precision. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with experience managing last-minute changes in complex transactions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal research platforms, and document management/redlining tools (e.g., DocuSign, Word). Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. #INDSC
