Job Description

Litigation ParalegalAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a collaborative legal team supporting attorneys through every stage of the litigation process-from case inception through trial and appeal. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing complex cases, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

ResponsibilitiesManage litigation matters from intake through resolution while maintaining organized and accurate case files.

Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents under attorney supervision.

Coordinate all phases of discovery, including document review, document production, privilege logs, and e-discovery.

Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and public records.

Prepare deposition summaries, trial binders, exhibit lists, witness files, and other trial materials.

Electronically file documents in state and federal courts while ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines.

Track court deadlines, maintain litigation calendars, monitor case dockets, and coordinate hearings, depositions, and mediations.

Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors.

Assist attorneys with case strategy, organization, and trial preparation while managing multiple matters simultaneously.

QualificationsBachelor's degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.

Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, litigation deadlines, and the discovery process.

Experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.

Experience with electronic filing systems (CM/ECF and state e-filing portals).Familiarity with legal document management systems and litigation support software is a plus.

Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, work independently, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced legal environment.
