This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse range of legal practices, including estate planning, environmental law, litigation, family law, securities law, and more. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a passion for delivering exceptional legal administrative support. As a vital member of our firm, you will assist with legal research, document management, case preparation, and client communication to ensure smooth and efficient operations within our law office. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow their legal career while contributing to impactful legal work. Responsibilities Manage legal case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis to support attorneys' case strategies across various practice areas including patent law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and more. Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, memos, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist with document review and data entry tasks related to litigation cases and legal case management systems. Support attorneys with project management tasks related to estate planning, environmental law projects, or securities law compliance. Perform administrative duties including filing documents electronically and physically, managing calendars for court deadlines or client meetings, and maintaining organized records. Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses when necessary and assist in preparing for hearings or meetings through thorough research and documentation. Experience Prior paralegal experience or legal administrative experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple practice areas such as estate planning, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, patent law, or securities law. Proficiency in legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with document management systems like iManage is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy. Experience supporting attorneys with project management tasks or conducting interviews is advantageous. Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and general office organization is essential. Join us in providing exceptional legal support that makes a difference!
