In this vital role, you will be responsible for attorneys across Personal Injury practice areas, and personal injury law referrals and communication. Your expertise will help streamline legal processes, conduct comprehensive research, manage case files efficiently, and assist with document drafting and review. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development and strategy Assist with the preparation and drafting of legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence Manage and organize case files using document management for efficient retrieval and storage Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and completeness; proofread and transcribe dictations with precision Support attorneys office with scheduling of clients for MD Consults, Imaging needs, Physical Therapy scheduling, Ortho and Spine consultations with Physicians and Surgery scheduling if needed. Conduct interviews with clients to gather pertinent information for cases Perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of case activities in legal case management software Handle administrative tasks such as filing documents electronically or physically, managing calendars, and coordinating appointments with PI Patients. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients or external parties while providing exceptional executive administrative support Skills Extensive knowledge of PI workers' compensation law, personal injury law. Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with document management systems like iManage and PCLaw Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; capable of proofreading and editing meticulously Experience in conducting interviews and gathering relevant information efficiently Ability to perform thorough legal case management including document review and data entry Clerical experience supporting busy law offices; familiarity with filing procedures both electronically and physically Effective communication skills demonstrating professionalism in phone etiquette and client interactions Project management capabilities to coordinate tasks across different practice areas effectively Responsible for accurate and precise PI Patients records, provide on time updates to Attorneys office, provide records to Attorneys office when requested.
