This position will provide support to our personal injury paralegals and assist with the day-to-day operations of our legal practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process and input new client matters and documentation into the Firm's case management system Assist paralegal in preparing routine engagement letters and their distribution Assist paralegal in obtaining medical records/bills related to client treatment Assist paralegal in verifying, confirming, and documenting account balances with medical personnel Prepare and maintain both hard-copy and electronic files, ensuring their accuracy and completeness Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as word processing, filing, copying, and scanning to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of paralegal files
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1-2 years clerical/administrative experience Prior experience supporting paralegals or attorneys preferred Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to requests Polished and professional; Positive, client-oriented attitude Able to manage and balance multiple tasks and priorities Dependability and consistently at work on time Candidate must have at least a high school diploma (or equivalent)
