A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

About the
Position:
Serves as a Paralegal Specialist within the Field Operating Offices, U.S. Army Audit Agency.

Specialized Experience :
One year of specialized experience which includes: 1)Assisting in identifying legal issues, conducting legal research and/or analysis to draft legal documents utilizing automated research tools; 2) Assisting in providing administrative support using the NIPR and SIPR electronic communication systems; 3) Independently prepare drafts, reports, briefs and legal documents to aid in the development of agency requirements; and 4) Gathering and maintaining data on legal work performed and using the data to submit periodic automated and electronic reports outside the Agency Time in
Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
