Job Summary Join our dynamic legal team as a Collections/Community Associations Paralegal and play a vital role in managing community association legal matters, debt collection processes, and compliance issues. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to support attorneys with a variety of legal tasks, ensuring smooth operations and effective resolution of community association disputes. You will be instrumental in handling case files, conducting research, and communicating with clients, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with the management of community association files, including reviewing documents, drafting correspondence, and preparing legal pleadings. Support debt collection efforts by preparing notices, tracking payments, and coordinating with debtors, communicty management companies, collection agencies and clients. Conduct legal research on relevant laws such as landlord-tenant law and procedural law to support case strategies. Manage and maintain our firm's case management system, CollectCA, and ensure accurate and organized case files for collection matters. Communicate effectively with clients, community associations, vendors, debtors, management companies for the associations to gather information and provide updates. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while handling legal documents and client data with precision. Support attorneys in project management tasks related to community association disputes and collection matters. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
