A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills;
- An eye for detail;
- Comfort with office technology;
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office;
- Ability and willingness to adapt to changing daily tasks;
- Willingness to work in a collaborative effort;
- Past legal experience is a positive but not a requirement;
- Enjoy a fast pace work environment;
- Good organizational skills and the ability to juggle a variety of time-sensitive tasks with minimal oversight.
Experience :
- None required; however, past legal, collections, real estate or banking experience is desirable
Compensation :
- $18-$22/hour based on experience
