Job Overview:

Nicolet Law is hiring a full-time Paralegal to join our Personal Injury practice. The ideal candidate will provide support in all aspects of case preparation and case management, have an interest in legal writing, excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and an overall desire to help our clients and the community.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients, insurance providers, medical professionals, and attorneys Open client files, initiate insurance claims, order records and obtain outstanding balances and liens Draft, proofread, and format correspondence and legal documents Review medical records and bills, draft medical summaries, and demand letters Process incoming mail and documents Organize and maintain digital case files and matters Assist attorney with the drafting and filings of pleadings Assist attorney in the preparation of trial Manage attorney's calendar Assist other team members as needed

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree in any field preferred Personal injury experience preferred but not required Detail-oriented, responsible, and organized Self-starter who has the ability to work as part of a team and independently Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with accuracy and meet deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook Comfortable speaking on the phone Demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and customer service; ability to handle confidential matters with discretion Nicolet Law Office offers a competitive compensation package including: Medical, dental, vision coverage, flex spending accounts (FSA) Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance 401k with employer matching available Paid Time Off and additional paid leave policies including
