A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Prepare, revise, and organize legal documents and correspondence Maintain case files and monitor deadlines Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, and third parties Assist attorneys with substantive legal support work and case management Schedule meetings, appointments, and deadlines Maintain and organize client and matter records Perform administrative support tasks including filing, scanning, and answering phonesQualifications Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum two years of prior legal experience required Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to manage a high volume of work and meet deadlines Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Technology proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Professionalism, initiative, and reliabilityPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook Probate experienceSchedule :
Monday- Thursday 8:00am
- 5:00pm Friday 8:00am
- 4:00pm Summer hours
- Fridays 8:00am-1:00pm (Optional)
