Job Description

Overview We are seeking a legal assistant to join our firm in River Falls, Wisconsin. This position would support attorneys across a broad spectrum of legal practice areas. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks. Job responsibilities include managing files, communicating with clients and the court, and providing general administrative support. Some experience or education in the field is strongly preferred. Duties Communicate with third parties, clients, the court and other attorneys. Draft various legal documents. Open, maintain and manage client files. Manage attorneys' calendars. Manage attorneys' billing. Provide general legal and litigation support services to attorneys, including organizing witnesses and exhibits, arranging depositions, handling discovery, and tracking deadlines. Handle general administrative and office tasks, including mail, inventory, telephone calls and emails, and greeting clients and third parties.
Pay:
$24.99 - $30.09 per hour
