POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, ensures compliance with university parking regulations, provides assistance to patients, staff, and students entering parking ramps, and directs to available parking options accordingly.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Two years' experience in a public contact position. Experience must include use of computers and/or tablets. Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to meet and maintain UI Driving Policy. Successfully complete criminal background check. State agency employers in Iowa are required to use E-verify to confirm employment eligibility. University of Iowa employees, including those who work remotely or out-of-state, are subject to E-verify.
DESIRABLES
Knowledge of University of Iowa campus and locations of various parking facilities. Customer service/public contact experience. Ability to adapt, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills in order to interact effectively with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
HOURS:
7am-11am Monday-Friday or 11:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday Rate of pay-$18.77 Contact
