Job Description

The City of Bangor is hiring for the position of Code Enforcement Officer. The Code Enforcement Officer serves as a Building, Plumbing, Property Maintenance, and Land Use/Zoning Inspector performing various inspections to ensure compliance with applicable building, plumbing, property maintenance, zoning and land use codes and regulations. Additionally, the Code Enforcement Officer performs Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections of residential units through the Bangor Rental Assistance Program as well as responds to housing and property maintenance concerns.
