Job Description
Deputy Chief Probation Officer (At-Will) This is an At-Will, non-competitive position that is appointed by and serves at the will of the Chief Probation Officer. The County of Tulare is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Deputy Chief Probation Officer for the Tulare County Probation Department. This position will assist in the planning, organizing and directing of county probation services and custodial facilities; assist in the administration and operation of the department; and will act for the Chief Probation Officer in his/her absence. General direction is provided by the Chief Probation Officer. Responsibilities include providing general direction to Probation Division Managers, as well as direct supervision of a wide variety of support staff.
