Duties include coordinating the truancy and diversion program, receiving truancy referrals and communicating with the referral agency (Schools, Court, Department of Children and Families), meeting with youth and families, maintain regular contact with other professionals and youth/families. Incumbents must provide written reports, affidavits, and testimony to the court. Assists youth and families to access services, i.e., mental health services, medical card, etc. Collect accurate data and maintain database. This position requires flexibility to meet after hours for families. Special assignments may include backup to Juvenile Intake and Assessment and Juvenile Community Corrections.
