Job Duties:

Performs highly complex parole administration and supervision work. Work involves reviewing and approving parole supervision activities, parole investigations, parole release plans and reports; coordinating case assignments; conducting case analyses; and supervising the work of others. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. You'd be a GOOD fit if:

Parole officer experience, computer operations experience, technical review or program evaluation experience, and teaching, training, or staff development experience. You'd be a GREAT fit if:

Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Major course work in Criminal Justice, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred. Each year of experience as described below in excess of the required three years may be substituted for thirty semester hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis with a maximum substitution of two years. Three years full-time, wage-earning criminal justice, case management, case processing, or military experience.
