Senior Health & Safety Manager National Ready Mixed - 3.0 Ontario, CA Job Details Full-time $110,000 - $140,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Employee relationship building Full Job Description Position Summary National Ready Mixed Concrete Company (NRMCC) is seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Manager to lead the health and safety performance of approximately 10 Ready Mix operations throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. This position is responsible for driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk, and partnering with operations to achieve world-class safety performance. The successful candidate is a visible leader who builds relationships, influences change and holds all levels of the organization accountable for safety excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead health and safety programs across multiple Ready-Mix operations. Ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA, OSHA, California DOT, FMCSA, and other applicable safety regulations. Conduct and oversee incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation. Partner with operations leadership to identify risks and develop practical solutions that improve safety performance. Conduct facility audits, field observations, and compliance inspections. Develop and deliver safety training and leadership coaching. Monitor safety performance metrics and communicate trends and recommendations to leadership. Support workers' compensation, return-to-work, and injury prevention initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive health and safety experience, including multi-site operations. Strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA, California DOT/FMCSA, incident investigation, risk management, and safety management systems. Experience in Ready Mix, construction materials, manufacturing, transportation, or another heavy industrial environment preferred. Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHST are a plus.
