Job Description
Full Job Description Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, ideally with course work in environmental health, public health, biology, sanitary engineering or related field required. Ability to conduct Phase 1 and Phase 2 subsurface sewage evaluation. State of Connecticut Certification in Food Service Inspection. Minimum of two years of field experience in environmental health and enforcement of environmental health laws and regulations. Registered Sanitarian preferred. Lead certification preferred.Essential Functions:
Performs routine inspections of regulated facilities including food service establishments, public pools, salons and day care facilities. Investigates a wide variety of environmental complaints. Performs plan reviews. Performs subsurface sewage plan review, related field work and inspections.Salary and Benefits:
