Transdev is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety programs across its transportation operations. In this role, you will design and enforce safety policies, conduct audits and incident investigations, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and local regulations. You will lead employee safety training, analyze trends, and drive corrective actions to reduce risk. Partnering with operations and maintenance teams, you'll champion a strong safety culture that protects employees, riders, and the community while supporting Transdev's mission of safe, reliable mobility. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures for transportation operations Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation safety regulations Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and certification programs for employees Analyze safety data and trends to recommend corrective and preventive actions Coordinate emergency response planning and drills Partner with operations, maintenance, and HR to resolve safety issues Prepare safety reports and documentation for management and regulatory agencies Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, communication, and recognition Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce accidents and injuries Required Skills Safety program management OSHA and DOT compliance Accident and incident investigation Risk assessment and mitigation Safety data analysis and reporting Safety training development and delivery Regulatory documentation and recordkeeping Emergency response planning Root cause analysis Transportation operations knowledge
