Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a senior Pharmacovigilance Systems Lead to support a global biotechnology organization during a critical Oracle Argus to Veeva Safety transformation. This individual will serve as a key SME for drug safety technology initiatives while partnering with business and IT leaders to drive implementation activities, stakeholder alignment, and project financial oversight. This role requires 3 days onsite in Wilmington, DE. Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmacovigilance and drug safety systems.
  • Support and help lead the migration from Oracle Argus to Veeva Safety.
  • Partner with Drug Safety, Regulatory, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project financials, including budgets, invoices, purchase orders, vendor coordination, and spend tracking.
  • Identify risks, drive issue resolution, and support ongoing system optimization efforts.
  • Provide leadership and guidance across pharmacovigilance technology initiatives.

  • 8+ years of experience supporting Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety systems in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environment.
  • Experience with Veeva Safety, Oracle Argus, ArisGlobal, or similar pharmacovigilance platforms.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
  • Strong understanding of drug safety business processes and regulated environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Direct experience with Veeva Safety implementations or migration projects.
  • Experience managing project budgets and vendor-related activities.
  • Exposure to SAP Finance, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
