Job Description The Sanitation Manager will lead the sanitation team across a 24/7 industrial food manufacturing operation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining a clean, safe production environment. Responsibilities Manage 19+ sanitation employees across 3 shifts
Ensure compliance with:
SQF
AIB
HACCP
FDA/FSMA standards
Oversee:
Master Sanitation Schedules
CIP/COP programs
Environmental monitoring programs
Serve as a key point of contact during food safety audits
Coordinate chemical programs
Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Quality Assurance (QA) teams
Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements 5+ years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing
2+ years in a supervisory role
Working knowledge of:
GMP
HACCP
SQF requirements
Preferred Qualifications
