The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Supervisor supports the plant's environmental, health, and safety programs by promoting a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and driving employee engagement in safety initiatives. The EHS Supervisor partners with site leadership and employees to identify and reduce workplace hazards, support incident prevention efforts, and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility. This position works closely with operations leaders and employees to implement EHS programs, conduct training, investigate incidents, perform workplace inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Assist with incident, injury, property damage, and near-miss investigations and support corrective action implementation.
• Facilitate new employee safety orientation and deliver ongoing safety training to employees and supervisors.
• Promote employee participation in safety initiatives, observations, and hazard reporting programs.
• Maintain OSHA logs, training records, inspection reports, corrective action tracking, and other EHS documentation.
• Monitor compliance with facility safety rules, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency response planning.
• Assist leaders in identifying workplace risks and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
• Track safety action items and audit findings to ensure timely closure.
• Support environmental compliance activities, including inspections, permit-related requirements, and waste management programs.
• Prepare and distribute routine EHS performance reports and safety metrics.
• Lead safety committee meetings and support employee engagement activities.
• Conduct ergonomic, behavioral, and workplace observations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Help promote a culture where employees take ownership of safety and actively participate in hazard prevention efforts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence. Required Qualifications
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety requirements.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and employee training.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze safety trends and support corrective action implementation.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with hourly employees, supervisors, and plant leadership. Preferred Qualifications
• OSHA 30 Certification or other recognized safety certification.
• Experience of EHS management systems or web-based EHS platforms.
• Experience supporting ISO 14001 and/or

ISO 45001

programs.

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement environments.
• Forklift, Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, and Emergency Response training experience.

Pay:

$37.50 - $40.00 per hour
