Job Description
Join us as the Food Safety Manager at our Rome location. In this fast-paced leadership role, you will help drive food safety excellence across our manufacturing operations by ensuring compliance with Kellanova food safety policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Working closely with plant leadership, quality teams, and operations partners, you will play a key role in protecting our consumers, strengthening our food safety culture, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead critical programs, influence plant-wide performance, and make a meaningful impact in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. A Taste of What You'll Be Doing Food Safety Program Leadership
- Lead and continuously improve site food safety and environmental monitoring programs, including inspections, traceability, testing, microbiological controls, and regulatory compliance activities. Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with plant leadership, quality teams, and operations partners to identify risks, implement best practices, and strengthen food safety performance across the facility. People Leadership
- Develop, coach, and support a direct report while fostering accountability and engagement in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Audit & Compliance Management
- Coordinate internal and third-party audits, manage corrective actions, maintain HACCP and food safety program compliance, and support certification requirements. Continuous Improvement
- Drive sustainable improvements in food safety systems, processes, and employee training to enhance operational execution and product protection.
