Will ensure that the organization has a systematic approach to complying with environmental regulations, such as managing waste or air emissions. Other responsibilities may include finding ways to reduce the organization's carbon footprint.

What You'll Do:
Lead plant-wide EHS programs and ensure compliance with
OSHA, EPA
(Federal & State), and GMP regulations. Conduct and manage internal, regulatory, customer, and third-party audits. Develop, review, and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) using SDS management software. Create, revise, and implement environmental SOPs and safety procedures. Drive continuous improvement in plant health, safety, and environmental performance. Partner with leadership to promote a thriving safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of EHS leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing (chemical manufacturing experience strongly preferred). Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in an EHS role within chemical manufacturing will also be strongly considered.
Hands-on audit experience with:
OSHA-30 EPA
(Federal & State) GMP Customer Audits SMETA and/or Higg Index (preferred) Experience creating and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Exceptional knowledge of environmental regulations, safety programs, and compliance requirements.
