Key Responsibilities Site Inspections:

Conduct daily job-site walkthroughs to audit activities, identify physical hazards, and ensure 100% compliance with

OSHA 1926

construction standards .

Safety Training & Onboarding:

Develop and conduct daily tool-box talks, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and site-specific safety orientations. Preference will be given to candidates capable of leveraging their

OSHA 510

to deliver official outreach training.

High-Risk Oversight:

Direct and enforce safety protocols for high-risk operations, including excavation, scaffolding, fall protection, crane operations, and electrical work.

Incident Management:

Lead root-cause investigations for all near-misses or injuries, manage workers' comp documentation, and implement corrective actions. Audit daily pre-start safety checklists submitted by equipment operators. Conduct random physical spot-checks on machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders, forklifts) to verify log accuracy and enforce immediate Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) for any faulty equipment. Qualifications & Requirements Certifications (Mandatory): Active

OSHA 510

(Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction) credential is required.

Experience:

3-5+ years of dedicated, on-site construction safety management experience.

Technical Knowledge:

Expert-level understanding of fall protection, trenching, heavy equipment safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) management.

Preferred Credentials:

Active

OSHA 500

(Authorized Outreach Trainer), CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) is highly desired.

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
