Summary:

The Safety Program Manager will be responsible for the management and oversight of a comprehensive safety program that ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and promotes a safe and healthy work environment. This role requires a proactive approach to safety, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain a comprehensive safety program across all departments Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions Deliver safety training programs for current employees and new hires Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures Maintain accurate safety records and documentation Promote a positive safety culture through communication, training, and engagement Collaborate with other departments to integrate safety into all aspects of operations Stay up to date on the latest safety regulations and best practices Manage the safety budget and resources

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• This role requires a strict national background investigation as well as a pre-employment drug screening.
