SUMMARY OF POSITION
The position is responsible for all safety and field training programs and processes for INTREN. Responsible for ensuring all programs and policies are properly written and are fully communicated and complied with.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Safety Performance:
Reviews work in progress to ensure that all safety hazards are being recognized and addressed. Communicates all safety programs to management and safety professionals. Works with safety professionals to develop and maintain a work site review program. Ensures record keeping systems are in place to document job-site inspections, training documentation, and follow-up. Analyzes all claims, job site visit reports and near-misses looking for repetition of injuries, accidents or hazards and communicates to management. Research and recommend specialty safety equipment. May conduct mock OSHA inspections. May interface with Customer on an as needed basis. Training Compliance Reviews existing written programs to ensure all are in compliance with the required standards, and write new programs as required. (OSHA, EPA, DOT) Distributes, communicates the availability of, and maintains an appropriate supply of written programs. Oversees the writing and content of all field related training programs. Maintains a library of completed training modules and training programs and distributes as needed. Focuses on all training programs making sure training needs are being met in the field. Ensures all safety & training programs are in compliance with OSHA standards and all management personnel are trained on how to react to an OSHA inspection. Also maintains records of all OSHA cases and history. Responsible for analyzing the budget and the needs of the safety and training department and for ensuring efficient use safety personnel.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent training and/or experience within the industry. Advance study such as master's degree or certification such as CSP preferred. Must have demonstrated leadership abilities. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to prioritize multiple projects. INTREN is an equal opportunity employer.
