Retail Data Manager
Job Description
The Retail Data Manager oversees the accuracy and integrity of retail product, cost, pricing, and invoice data across FastLane locations. This role manages the corporate pricebook, pricing updates, promotions, vendor data integration, and retail data processes while leading department staff and supporting companywide retail operations. What You'll Do Manage and maintain the FastLane corporate pricebook, including product setup, costs, pricing, promotions, markups, markdowns, and cigarette buydowns Analyze retail data to support pricing strategies, margin optimization, inventory controls, and operational decision-making Oversee invoice processing and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) programs with participating vendors Work closely with vendors, Store Managers, and company leadership to coordinate pricing updates, promotions, and retail initiatives Lead, train, and support department team members while coordinating daily workflow and priorities Assist with retail licensing, pricebook software updates, system enhancements, and process improvements Provide guidance and training to store teams on pricing, inventory controls, and retail procedures Maintain accurate records and protect confidential financial, pricing, operational, and personnel information High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of accounting, auditing, or related experience; equivalent education, training, and experience will be considered. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong technology skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Experience with PDI software and/or retail pricebook systems is a plus.
