Environmental, Health & Safety Manager The EHS Manager will lead environmental, health, and safety programs for a food manufacturing facility in Omaha, NE. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for regulatory compliance, safety culture, employee training, risk management, and continuous improvement. 1st shift Direct hire with full benefits package Salary + annual bonus (up to $100k DOE) Key Responsibilities Serve as the onsite EHS leader and partner with plant leadership to drive a strong safety culture. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Manage safety programs including LOTO, Hazard Communication, Confined Space, Hot Work, Contractor Safety, and injury prevention. Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, JHAs, and incident investigations. Track safety metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions. Oversee environmental programs related to waste, water/wastewater, air emissions, and hazardous materials. Develop and deliver EHS training for employees and supervisors. Lead emergency preparedness and response efforts. Partner with Operations and Quality to integrate safety into daily production activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing risk and improving compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations. Experience in a food industry plant environment is preferred. CSP or similar certification is a plus. Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Work Environment Daily presence on the manufacturing floor is required. Exposure to machinery, varying temperatures, chemicals, and typical manufacturing conditions. #HPCS
