Join a financially stable and growing transportation company Lead safety initiatives that directly impact company performance Work alongside an experienced leadership team that values safety Opportunity to make a measurable difference in CSA scores, claims reduction, and driver performance Company culture built on respect, accountability, and continuous improvement Competitive salary and benefits package Career growth and professional development opportunities What You'll Be Responsible For Leading the company's safety program and regulatory compliance efforts Monitoring and improving CSA scores and safety performance metrics Managing accident investigations, claims, and corrective action plans Coaching drivers and promoting safe driving behaviors Developing and delivering safety training programs Analyzing telematics, inspection, and violation data to identify trends and reduce risk Managing relationships with insurance carriers, legal counsel, and third-party administrators Overseeing driver qualification files and compliance documentation Managing DataQs challenges and CSA intervention strategies Maintaining litigation-ready records and document retention programs Developing safety incentives, recognition programs, and culture initiatives Leading and developing Safety Department personnel What We're Looking For Experience in transportation safety, fleet safety, risk management, or trucking operations Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and transportation compliance requirements Experience managing accident investigations, claims, and driver coaching programs Ability to interpret safety data and turn it into actionable improvement plans Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Experience with safety technology platforms such as Samsara, Tenstreet, or similar systems Certified Director of Safety (CDS) designation preferred or willingness to obtain certification The Kind of Leader Who Thrives Here You're not just a compliance expert.
