The Transportation Supervisor DOT will directly manage the daily delivery process in accordance with company policies and procedure to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products to Ben E. Keith customers. The Transportation Supervisor DOT will report to the Operations Manager. Collaborate with peer supervisors to manage daily routes and activities of transportation personnel Enforce transportation policies and procedures to maintain equipment performance and ensure compliance of BEK safety and transportation guidelines Manage delivery operations to ensure complete customer satisfaction with internal and external customers Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the timely reporting of work activities, personnel time, expenditures and verify the efficient shipping and delivery of products Train new employees and guide current employees regarding routes, product delivery, completion of paperwork, and compliance with all safety requirements; and perform employee evaluations or disciplinary actions as needed Perform timely investigation and reporting of all accidents, injuries and incidents to appropriate personnel Represent Ben E. Keith Company with professionalism, a positive attitude and professional dress code

Job Qualifications:

Commitment to Ben E. Keith company principles and standards Knowledge of customer service principles; including needs assessment and meeting quality standards for services Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines and to prioritize multiple projects, assignments and tasks Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint to write reports, correspondence and communications and effectively present information to employees in a written or verbal format Manage employee turn-over by maintaining or improving employee morale, and identifying and correcting obstacles Ability to travel overnight when needed 3 - 5 years of related experience; including at least one year of management experience is required Knowledge of DOT guidelines and related regulatory guidelines required Valid Arkansas Class A CDL required; with no more than one moving violation in the past 3 years High school diploma or GED Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
