Upscale Queens boutique hotel is searching for a Fire Life Safety Director/Security Officer. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic individual with excellent attention to detail and a hospitality background. The qualified candidate will be able to respond to emergency situations in a composed, quick and professional manner. This person will be able to document all activity during their work shift including employee and guest accidents and incidents. This position requires a person with a flexible schedule since they will have to cover multiple shifts as needed.

Requirements:

Must possess a NY Fire Life Safety Director Certification of Fitness (T-89 OR F-89) Must be able to take the On-Site Test NYS Security Guard License (8 and 16 hour Course) Must have completed the 7 hour Non-Fire Emergency Course High school graduate or equivalent Must able to communicate effectively during announcements and written reports

Experience:

Minimum of two year experience in the security industry. Multilingual and hospitality experience a plus.
