Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Sales Manager (Explosion Solutions) to join their growing team. They are located in the (West) - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence for industrial electrical safety and automation solutions across Singapore and Southeast Asia. Identify and manage new business opportunities with EPC contractors, OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and industrial end-users. Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, solution presentation, quotation preparation, tender submission, commercial negotiation, and project award. Review customer specifications and technical requirements to prepare competitive commercial and technical proposals. Liaise with internal engineering, operations, and regional teams to ensure accurate solution design, quotation support, and successful project execution. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships while expanding existing accounts within assigned territories. Monitor project progress, order fulfilment, and customer requirements to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, market intelligence, and competitor analysis to support business planning. Support pricing strategies, contract administration, and payment collection to achieve revenue and profitability objectives. Represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events to strengthen brand presence and business opportunities.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in industrial electrical products, hazardous area equipment, industrial automation, or related technical solutions. Experience managing technical sales, tenders, RFQs, commercial proposals, and project-based solutions. Familiar with industrial sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, marine, power generation, renewable energy, or process manufacturing. Knowledge of hazardous area products, explosion protection systems, industrial electrical systems, or relevant industry certifications will be an added advantage. Able to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems. Willing to travel within Singapore and Southeast Asia when required.
