• Support safety and security operations:
• Assist the Director in overseeing all safety and security functions, including ensuring OSHA compliance, promoting safe work practices, and managing department systems, budgets, and policies. +
• Oversee safety training:
• Assist in leading the coordination and administration of safety training programs, including CPR, fire and life safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training +
• Ensure property safety:
• Assist in directing security patrols of the hotel premises to identify and address safety risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions +
• Support investigations:
• Assist in leading inquiries into accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities +
• Direct emergency responses:
• Assist in leading responses to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security threats +
• Liaise with law enforcement:
• Act as a key contact for federal, state, and local authorities on security-related matters +
• Inspire and develop the team:
• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build a motivated and high-performing team
