Job Description
Job Overview Fire and Life Safety Director (FLSD) Guardian Security is seeking a qualified and dependable Fire and Life Safety Director for a position in New York City. Schedule Requirements Candidates must have open availability on: Friday Saturday Sunday Required Qualifications Valid F-89, T-89, or Z-89 Certificate of Fitness Current New York State Security Guard registration Strong communication and observation skills Ability to remain professional during emergencies Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to complete reports clearly and accurately Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Must be available to work the required Friday-through-Sunday schedule Responsibilities Monitor fire and life-safety systems and building conditions Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and safety incidents Conduct required inspections and patrols Maintain accurate logs and incident reports Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations Communicate with building management, security personnel, tenants, and emergency responders Enforce building safety procedures and post orders Perform other security and life-safety duties as assigned Employment Requirements Employment is subject to verification of all licenses and certifications, a background check, and any additional requirements applicable to the assigned location.
