Jamaica, NY | Full-Time |
Salary:

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center (JHMC), a prestigious Level 1 Trauma Center, is seeking a Trauma Performance Improvement Specialist (TPIS) ) to support trauma quality and safety initiatives. This role directly influences patient outcomes, ensures compliance with ACS standards, and drives continuous improvement across the trauma program.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and sustain the trauma Performance Improvement/Patient Safety (PIPS) program. Collect, analyze, and benchmark trauma PI data, track outcomes, trends, and variances. Prepare reports, presentations, and trended data for trauma committees. Facilitate performance improvement meetings and maintain trauma PI databases. Support preparation for regulatory site surveys (ACS, NYSDOH). Requirements Current, unrestricted RN license in NY BSN required, Master's preferred Minimum 3 years' experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Who Should Apply Registered Nurses (RN) with a current, unrestricted license in New York 3+ years' experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center Trauma Registrar or Performance Improvement Coordinator experience is a strong plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Why JHMC?
